heroes

heroes.when we hear this word people like fantastic four,transformers and spiderman come to our minds.We wanna be just like them...look good,have the powers,the size,the ability to transform.i looked upon them as my idols when a year ago,it hit me in the face that these dudes are fictionand that the real Heroes are people who do their part to make the earth a better place to live on.

an example is a sewage cleaner.everyday he goes down the gutters n cleans it up.well,to us it may look disgusting.but think....what if they dont do it for a week,the whole country will stink!

so thats one of the heroes who do save the day almost everytime,but unlike the fantastic 4,

transformers etc.,are seldom praised.

another person,is looked upon as a hero,among us teens today,is the dude that bends rules,has a dont care attitude,throws his weight around or talks back to a teacher.well in some cases,the teacher might b wrong and thus,the dude n his supporters are right.but mst of the time,its the other way round.Well,he may look cool as he dares,but sometimes,i ask myself;is he cool or is he just a plain bravado?well people started asking themselves too.and the dude became a no one.well this is my personal account and i was the bravado,so i know.All the time i thought i was a hero,when i was actually a villain against myself.

Then the fact that hit me straight in my face was that the unsung hero in my life is the person in school(in many schools n places) who stood against me,as i started a wrong fad,and an immoral act.this is a person who does not care if he is mocked by me,or my so called supporters.He is a hero as he made me realise the foolishness, n thus,turing me into a hero too.

And He is the the hero who doesnt take lives of villains,but changes them for the better.

after all that i have said i would like to share a bit of advice,that would turn all the readers of this blog to heroes.Unsung,but no matter,heroes.be a good samaritan and do not follow a crowd nut do what u think is right.say good to a person when he does good,encourage him when he tries,and explain not tell a person off,when he has wronged.

In spiderman,uncle ben said to parker;"With great power comes great responsibility."which is to a certain extent true.but in life i say"without great power,still comes a great responsibility.(To do good).

so i conclude that in life heroes need not have powers,need not have to transform from a car to a robot,n need not have a need to climb walls.they are basically the everyday citizens of god,who step against wrong,and correct it.remeber brother and sisters,they look just like u and me,but their powers do not come from space,or some spider tt bites,but its from the holy spirit.
